About Mount Washington
Mount Washington is a neighborhood in Northwest Baltimore. Its rough boundaries are Pimlico Road, Northern Parkway, the Jones Falls Expressway, and Smith Avenue. It is a mostly residential community of single family houses, although it has a small commercial district, called Mount Washington Village, located near the Kelly Avenue Bridge; the Baltimore Light Rail's Mount Washington station is located here.
The zoned local public schools are Mount Washington Elementary, Roland Park
Middle, and Northwestern High School, although most of the children in the
community who continue their public education in the Baltimore City public
schools systems do so either at the elite magnet schools, City College or Poly.
